Forest Fair is this weekend.

Should be pretty fun, lots of music, art, food, beer.  All my favorite things.

I talked to my parents and I might be buying an old car from them for next summer here in AK, which means Kat’s probably going to winter here! Yay!

It also means road trip to Alaska, which is going to be amazing.  I already can’t wait to come back next summer. 

If you like the photos of my caribou, and are ever interested in reading a really awesome book about two people who follow them on their migration/calving journey, you should check out, “Being Caribou” by Karsten Heuer. 

I’m reading it right now and its soo good.  It makes me want to spend hours upon hours out with my two caribou.  If only we could venture into the hillsides together, then I could maybe get a real feel for them, and their lives.

Lack of updates lately have been getting me down.  Internet has been something hard to find the time upon as of late.  The weather has been crazy nice for some time, and its hard to want to sit and update when its so enticing outside.  Puppy sitting for a week straight also held my attention elsewhere.  Well hopefully I’m back, and with a vengeance. 

Going to be receiving my contract to head back down to the ice this next week, so here’s looking at you Antarctica.  I’ma coming back.
